	Beta strengthen AV Sales Team for 2010

	January 2010. Beta has further strengthened its Audio Visual products Division with the appointment of Mark Hopkins as Sales Manager for Audio Visual products, specialising in Canon. In this newly created role Mark will be developing new business in both new and existing customers. Hopkins commented ‘I will be looking to drive more business through Beta’s existing reseller customer base, but there is an enormous opportunity to develop new vertical markets and focus on the specialists in the AV market’. Hopkins has an impressive background in the industry, starting his career at Steljes then moving on to Sales Management roles at True Colours and latterly, Maverick. He is excited by the opportunity at Beta. ‘The great thing about Beta is that their customer base is increasing month by month, so resellers clearly like what they have to offer. The investment in growing the AV Sales & Marketing team demonstrates their commitment to becoming a major player in this market sector’. He added, ‘The long standing partnership with Canon is obviously an important factor in supporting Beta’s growth’.
