1. How do I register on the Beta website? Registration to the Beta website takes just a few minutes. Click the ‘register’ button on the right hand side of the top navigation bar. You will need the following information: your account number at Beta, a contact name, telephone and email address, and a Password. Your account number will become your username for the website. We will complete the rest of your information, such as your account manager and his/her contact details. Back to top
2. I’ve forgotten my password — help! Click on the 'I forgot my password' link and this will send an auto reply with your log in details to the email account which you used to register. Back to top
3. How do I set up a trading account with Beta? If you want to purchase an item straight away then call the trade sales team. If you require a credit facility on your account then simply download the application form and attach all the relevant information required. 5. Why do I not need a user name to register on your website? You do not need a user name because when you send over your details for registration and verification we will input your account number and this will become your username.Back to top
6. Why do you only show recommended retail pricing (RRP) on the website? Prices for these products fluctuate regularly. It is also possible for end-users to use the website (although not the members area) so RRP's are the most appropriate form of pricing to advertise. 7. How often is the website updated? Some areas of the website will be updated more regularly than others. Product information will be updated as and when specifications or RRP's change or when new products are introduced. Areas such as news may be updated on a daily basis. 12. My customer needs to register a warranty, how do they do this? Beta cannot register a warranty for your customer; they must go through the manufacturer whose product it is or use your own personal warranty service. Back to top
13. Where can I find product specifications? Product specifications can be found in concise form on the website alongside the product you may be searching for, or the manufacturers brochure can be found in PDF format - again next to the product. Back to top
14. How do I find which consumable goes with which machine? Each consumable has been uploaded to the website: they are linked to the products with which they can be used. Simply click the link next to the product details which will take you through to the consumables page. Back to top
15. What is the latest time I can place an order for next day delivery? For next day delivery orders can be placed up to 6pm. Back to top
16. What time do your sales lines open? The sales lines are open between 9 and 6pm although some sales staff may be available to place orders up to half an hour either side of these times. Back to top
17. Do I have to pay a delivery charge? How much will this be? Delivery charges may be applicable to some items but not others, and may vary according to where the item will be delivered - please ask your account manager for further information. Back to top
18. Are prices inclusive of VAT? Prices on the website are exclusive of VAT. Trade pricing will also be quoted excluding VAT unless otherwise stated. If you are unsure, please ask your account manager. Back to top
19. Where can I download product brochures from? Product brochures can be found alongside the product which you require the information for. If you require more than one brochure - i.e. for the whole Panasonic fax range, please do a search for all Panasonic faxes. Back to top

23. What can I do if I am over my credit limit but still want to place an order with Beta? If you are over your credit limit and need to place an order then please forward a payment to the accounts department to reduce your balance.
