Our London warehouse manager deals with all London based collections as well as dispatching and receiving goods to and from customers. Our main warehouse in Birmingham is the crux of the Beta operation where 24h picking, packing and delivery takes place. With an impressive 67 years worth of combined industry experience behind our directors, Beta and its customers are in good hands. Gary Wilson is our Chairman who started Beta as a small service agent for Canon Calculators 29 years ago. His leadership skills and foresight has enabled Beta to grow into one of the UK ’s largest office equipment distributors, boasting the achievement of being both Panasonic and Canon’s number 1 UK distributor. Irene Wilson is our Director of Human Resources, thus ensuring Beta employs only the highest calibre of staff. She has been involved in all aspects of Beta from the very beginning, giving her 29 years worth of industry experience alongside Gary. Both Gary and Irene worked for Gellef before deciding to branch off together and setup their own business which has grown from a small service agent for Canon Calculators into what you see before your eyes today, Beta Distribution. Steve Soper is the Managing Director of Beta and has been with us for 17 years gaining his ACCA qualification in June 1998 gaining him his position of Financial Director. In April 2006 Gary Wilson became chairman, passing the reigns of Beta to Steve.
